Warranty
Our definition of 'warranty' is simple - "Take care of your gear and it will take care of you". Each of our products is trail tested over time by multiple people, sewn by one of the best factories in the world and made with time tested hardware from leading brands which in turn means we stand behind every product we offer through our Limited Lifetime Warranty. To be clear, "Lifetime" means the lifetime of the product, not that of the individual. This warranty refers specifically to any functional defect in manufacturing which negatively affects the overall performance of the product. It does not cover normal wear & tear, alterations/modifications, abuse of its intended use or improper care. If the defect is determined to be a manufacturing defect, we will repair or replace, at our option, the product free of charge. NOTE: damage caused by hungry squirrels/chipmunks/bears, broken buckles and zippers, rips or tears caused by accident, standing too close to the fire, hauling your pack up a cliff, etc., are not covered under this warranty.
Returns or Exchanges
To us, this is a fairness issue. We fully understand that not being able to inspect or try on a product for fit or comfort is a risk on your part. To mitigate your risk, we offer a 30 day Return or Exchange Policy which begins the moment it leaves our hands. To return or exchange a product, you must first let us know it is being returned by sending us an email at support@lite-werks.com with the product name, order date and reason for return. If approval is given for the return, you will need to ship it (at your expense) within one business week. We will not accept any return without preauthorization.
Now for the 'fairness' part... the product being returned must be in new condition without any obvious marks, modifications, rips, etc. If you plan on using the product for your next adventure and then return it after your trip, this does not work for us and will not be accepted as a return or exchange - we try to be fair and expect the same from you...
Shipping
We offer free shipping on product purchases over $99 and a simple, tiered rate based on weight for product purchases under $99. Currently, we do not ship products internationally. The customer is responsible for any additional taxes or local charges for delivery. Once the product shipment leaves our hands we will provide tracking information through the carrier - any claims for lost or stolen goods (think: Porch Pirates) is between the customer and carrier.
